With the rapid development of economy and society, noise pollution issue has become increasingly serious. Among the noise pollution, traffic noise pollution is the largest and the most serious one. Currently, traffic noise has become a "persistent issue" in urban noise control and traffic noise is the main source of the current impact of urban acoustic environment.This paper takes the five typical functional areas near the Wen Chang viaduct as monitoring and evaluation object, utilizes the grid measurement method to set the monitoring points and apply equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level Leq as the evaluation standard and makes use of QiuShi noise classification method and scoring model method to evaluate and research. This paper analyzes the acoustic environment in the five functional areas in order to find out noise monitoring data in the daytime and at night, and also analyzes the causes of noise and the noise source characteristics so as to provide a useful reference for quiet and comfortable living environment of the residents’ life.The main contents of this paper are: 1. the outside and inside noise monitoring of vertical direction in Railway WenZheng New District, CDC in NanGang District, No.125 Secondary Middle schools, Air Force Hospital, and the side facing Viaduct of Blue Sky Hotel. 2. alley of WenZhi Street, side alley of CDC, alley of Blue Sky Hotel, the playground of No.125 Middle School and the Yellow River Road at the horizontal direction Approach outdoor noise monitoring. 3. The noise generated by motor vehicles is ascertained as the main noise sources of influencing functional zone day and night, by monitoring analysis of data statistics in five functional areas and synthesizing quality of acoustic environment in the various functional areas during the day and at night.Conclusions as follows after the research:(1)Sound environment quality in the daytime in five functional areas is bad. Acoustic environmental quality of schools, hospitals, and hotels at night is bad and that of schools is general. According to acoustic environmental quality measured by grading method, five functional areas are all poor.(2)There is a serious over standard of traffic noise in residents, schools, hospitals, hotels, office buildings, which interfere with work, study and life of people in various functional areas at night and in the day and meanwhile lead to such physiological and psychological problems as restlessness, easy to forget, neurasthenia, endocrine disorders, and drop in listening.(3)Noise barrier has a general role in noise reduction in functional areas, but the effect is not significant.(4)Prevention and treatment of traffic noise in the function area near Viaduct. External measures-- from the traffic noise source treatment—are from the angle of the whistle ban, the speed limit, environmental protection propaganda. Reasonable setting sound barriers in the relevant sections of the process of noise propagation process to achieve reducing noise effect. Internal measures are to install sound insulation window and indoor corridors, set sound absorption materials in the ceiling and other measures to achieve the effect of noise reduction.
