In this paper, organic fluorine and silicon was used on the acrylate modification research, and fluorine silicone modified acrylate emulsion was used in water-and oil-repellent finishing of flax fabric.Firstly, fluorinated acrylate emulsion was successfully prepared by the pre-emulsified semi-continuous polymerization, using organic fluorine monomer, acrylic acid, butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate as raw materials. The optimal conditions were discussed in detail. The results indicated that the reaction temperature is 80℃; constant time 60min; the amount of emulsifier(monomer mass) is 3.5%; the content of initiator is 0.6%(monomer mass). The conversion rate is 97.12%; the condensing rate is 0.62%; and the water absorption of its film is 8.63%. The film of the emulsion was characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscope(FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) characterization, thermal stability analysis(TG) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), etc. The results illustrated that the water resistance, high and low temperature resistance than the unmodified acrylate emulsion has improved significantly, because of the propensity of fluorine enrichment at film-air interface.This experiment, using organic fluorine, organic silicon as a functional monomer, by the emulsification seed emulsion polymerization method, syntheticed fluorine silicone modified acrylate emulsion(PAFSi). Measurement and characterization of the emulsion and latex film PAFSi conversion rate, gel rate, water absorption and mechanical stability, film-forming property, TEM, FT IR, TG, SEM and XPS. Determine the drop time 60 minutes time, emulsion dosage 3.0%(mass fraction) of total monomer, triggering dose 0.4%(mass fraction) of total monomer. Emulsion of condensing rate was 0.92%, the conversion rate of 93.28%. FT- IR, XPS analysis shows that organic silicon, organic fluorine reaction with other acrylate monomers, and when PAFSi emulsion film, fluorine, silicon chain synergy to the membrane interface migration, produce latex film you layer phenomenon, the surface would decline. Low surface energy of fluorine, silicon chain segment of the allotted layer, lower the bibulous rate(6.04%). TEM test showed that PAFSi emulsion latex particle size uniform, uniform dispersion, and presents a similar core-shell structure and spherical shape, the fluorine, silicon chain segment in the polymerization process to the surface of the migration results together. SEM test results showed that PAFSi emulsion film formed by uniformly continuous, no edge, no shrinkage cavity. TG results showed that organic silicon, organic fluorine in reaction, that PAFSi latex film thermal stability improved significantly. Compared with fluoride acrylic and pure acrylic emulsion, synthetic PAFSi emulsion of high temperature storage stability and low-temperature film were improved.This paper studied fabric finishing process of dip- rolling- baked, with a homemade fluorine silicone acrylic emulsion finishing agent to water-and oil-repellent finishing of flax fabric, through the process analysis, to study the curing time and curing temperature on the fabric of waterproof and oilproof. In obtain good water-and oil-repellent effect and shall not affect the basic properties of the fabric at the same time, the optimization is obtained the water-and oil-repellent finishing process conditions, i.e., the curing temperature is 160 ℃, the curing time of 3 minutes.
