| Water repellent finishing of textile fabric is one of special functional finishing of textiles, it has good water repellent properties and market prospect is capacious. Fluorated water-repellent especially those mostly with long perfluoroalkyl chains (CnF2n+1, n=8), are widely used as the excellent water repellent properties, but these long-chains are facing the problems such as the existence of biological accumulation and environmental hazards. Therefore, it is a hot topic of studying of short chain fluorinated acrylic ester water repellent agent synthesis and application.This experiment was prepared by six fluorine butyl methacrylate (Actyflon-G02), isooctyl acrylate (2-EHA), butyl acrylate (BA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), styrene (St), it used conventional and core-shell emulsion polymerization synthesis methods, it has prepared two kinds of fluorinated acrylic fabric water repellent finishing agent, the two product had been tested and characterized, and the optimum synthesis technology and application of finishing technology was explored, the self-made and commercial mainstream water repellent finishing was compared.In this experiment,2-EHA, BA, MMA, St as monomer was selected. A group of soft, hard monomer combinations was determine by the best of water repellent, and the acrylate monomer proportion, fluorinated acrylate monomer, emulsifier ratio and dosage, dosage of initiator, polymerization temperature and heat preservation time were analyzed. The best conventional emulsion polymerization was determined with St and2-EHA as monomer and Actyflon-G02polymerization reaction, the obtained and the St and2-EHA mass ratio were3:2, the quality of Actyflon-G02as total dosage of monomer was40%, and compound emulsifier was2.5%, and ratio of LAS: FS-200=1:1,and the dosage of initiator to the monomer was0.8%, reaction temperature was80℃, holding time as90mins. then, it would be got a milky translucent, pan blue stable emulsion.The fluorine-containting acrylate emulsion with core-shell structure was synthesized by changing the polymerization process, in with2-EHA and St for nuclear, Actyflon-G02and part2-EHA and St for shell. Discusses the shell structure of acrylate quality ratio, Actyflon-G02in shell structure for percentage of quality and structure of the shell monomers adding time, the results show that, when the nuclear, shell structure acrylate than quality was1:2, shell structure Actyflon-G02content was40%of the total weight of monomer, shell structure monomer adding time for90mins, it would be prepared bright, stable performance good emulsion.Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and copolymer emulsion particle size image of polymer was analyzed, on the synthesis of fluorinated acrylate water repellent emulsion the characterization. Show that, polymer has fluorine group, and the reaction had no residual monomer, was basically finished; particle size was more complete normal distribution, as the single-peak distribution.Through the discussion of water repellent agent dosage, rolling waste rate, pre baking temperature, baking temperature and time on the finished fabric contact angle effects, the best finishing water repellent finishing process for cotton fabric were determined, dyed fabrics→2dip2rolls (the fluorinated water repellent was60g/L, rolling remnant rate was75%)→pre-drying (80℃,3min)→baking (160℃,3min). After finishing of core-shell emulsion polymerization synthetic containing fluorine acrylates and the water contact angle can reached134.3°.it has good water repellency. However, this effect was slightly inferior to the commercial water repellent. |
