Kitchenware Design Research Based On The Modern Lifestyle In Shanghai

During a long historical period of time, Chinese nation has been creating various shining cultures in various forms. As one of them, is Chinese dining culture. In different age of times, dining manners, dining forms, the development of dining tools, have been witnessed the development of Chinese lifestyles, economy and civilization level. Under the big picture of globalization and modernization, the reform of lifestyle, the interaction between different cultures, the conflict and even crash, led to a great, change of the dining culture in Chinese cities. This thesis studied young generation who based in Shanghai- the typical Chinese modern city, analyzed the new lifestyle, new dining manners and trends, and in the end, the new kitchenware’s design trends.
