With the advancement of science and technology as well as the development of culture,the way of people's life has changed dramatically,especially in that of cooking.The food culture is the crystallization of human wisdom for 5,000 years and the epitome of traditional kitchenware along with people's life.People's demand for kitchenware has been constantly improving,and the design concepts thereby are becoming more and more diverse,which account for the fact that we should study Chinese cooking habits and healthy eating concepts in a profound way.kitchenware is the carrier of food culture with Chinese characteristic,in whose evolutions lies the change of our diet structure.Through the study of food culture,the thesis draws forth the evolution process of kitchenware in our history,which lets us reflect on the"redesign" of modern kitchenware via employing the people-oriented design concept,taking account the present situation of our country's kitchenware design together with the comprehensive development trends and the new elements of modern design.The design of Chinese kitchenware will eventually bring life to the subjects in terms of function,humanistic care,product meaning and the like,which will bring us physical and mental pleasure.This thesis is to study the design of kitchenware based on the concept of Chinese cooking and healthy eating.To be specific,the design scope includes the following several parts:the first part manages to draw the conclusion that diet culture change has led to changes in the way of cooking and people's fundamental demands in the design of kitchenware have thus been changed based on the analysis of the food culture and studies of the way of cooking at all times and in all over the world through which leads to the development direction of C.hinese kitchenware design.The second part is the design positioning of kitchenware which has made for the Chinese kitchenware design more in line with our cooking habits,while preserving traditional kitchenware design essence,combining the concept of diet culture,concept of healthy diet and emotional needs,and following the unity of "use" and "beauty",ergonomics,the integrated design principle of the subject.The third part comes up with the design of Chinese cooking kitchenware and its creative parts,and integrates the traditional materials technology in the design process such as the technology of cooking pottery,the tenon structure of furniture and the construction of timber frame.Wood material is durable which is not easy to be damaged.When cooking food,heat can be transmitted evenly through boccaro and ceramics so as to effectively prevent the loss of nutrients.The traditional kitchenware is redesigned based on the natural form to meet product functionality,endow products with cultural meaning,which can arouse people's good emotions by using the product,thus achieve the goal of spiritual communication,making people mentally pleasant and entitling their life full of fun.
