Cellulose fiber fabrics wrinkle easily, however there are plenty of hydroxyl groups for finishing fabrics crease providing favorable conditions through chemical modification. Atom transfer radical polymerization(atom transfer radical polymerization, referred ATRP) has many advantages because their reaction is widely used in functional modification of cellulosic materials. However, based on the relevant cellulosic fabrics wrinkle finishing ATRP reaction and adaptability of the method is rarely reported.The topic choses cotton and viscose fabric as experimental materials, the2-bromo-isobutyryl bromide repair decorative elements to the surface after initiating group has triggered ATRP reaction hydroxyethyl methacrylate grafted in catalysis(HEMA) were anti-wrinkle functional finish, respectively better technology and better technology former HEMA grafted cotton and viscose fabric graft treatment,also measured under the conditions better finishing of the fabric wrinkle resistance have been improved significantly. While the infrared absorption spectrum from ATR,scanning electron microscopy and X- ray diffraction image can be seen even HEMA was grafted onto the fiber surface, and the distribution of the resulting polymer.Anti-wrinkle finishing process is based on HEMA grafted ATRP by comparing cotton and viscose fabrics, getting wide adaptability grafting process of cellulose fiber fabric grafted HEMA.And treatment under the conditions of different specifications(material, weave, yarn count and yarn density) of fabric, anti-wrinkle finishing, testing over a variety of changes in the fabric wrinkle resistance, the results show that both of these fabrics wrinkle resistance has been improved to varying degrees, to further illustrate the wide adaptability grafting process effectiveness. Wrinkle selection after finishing cotton fabric(14.6 × 14.6 × 133 × 72, plain), after different times(5times,10 times, 15 times and 20 times) washing after washing, get the washing times and crease recovery angle regression equation y = 145.838- 0.4874 x, namely the crease recovery angle with water to increase the number gradually decreased, but to a lesser extent,reduce, indicating that the effects of a good anti-wrinkle finishing washable. At the same time, the fabric is different detergents(laundry soap, detergent and laundry detergent) hand washing after washing 15 times, testing their crease recovery angle changes, the results show: three different fabric after washing detergents, fabric crease recovery angle will have a slight decrease, and 15 times washing detergent washing effect is similar, indicating that the cotton fabric grafted HEMA based ATRP anti-wrinkle finishing effect of washing detergent has good durability and has good broad spectrum durability. To sum up: cellulose fiber fabric wrinkle-based ATRP graft function HEMA were finishing method has wide adaptability, and the treated fabric with anti-wash durability and resistance to washing in wrinkle resistance on a broad spectrum.
