| In recent years, with the development of petroleum industry, horizontal well drilling technique has obtained more and more extensive application in the world.。Horizontal drilling technology is quite mature in China. At present, the exposed area of target layer is relatively limited in vertical wells of Z oil field. So the effective development of oil reservoirs is a challenge which must be overcome. The earlier production wells of Z oilfield are puzzled with heavy water flush because of bottom water coming, so their fast production declining rate in short-term, low degree of recovery, and low reserve using rate. Therefore it’s appropriate to deploy horizontal wells. In this paper, in view of the objective factors of Z oilfield, used reasonable build-up rate and reasonable design of well drilling trajectory and drill string. Well trajectory control tools and equipments in Z oilfield was selected and configurated. A new horizontal well trajectory control technologyã€Logging geosteering technology and drilling fluid was formed for Z oilfield. On the basis of making a better geological and drill designation for horizontal well, we must make full use of MWD LWD and integrate logging to determine the drilling direction of bit and the position in target oil layer, to revise borehole track in real time, to make it extend in reservoir better interval as possible。The study of horizontal well has provided some reasonable geosteering project and successfully steered drilling while it was applied to the process of drilling horizontal well of Z oilfield. Moreover, the oil output in each horizontal well increases by more than three times. All achieved the expectation aim and obtained remarkable economical benefit. |
