TZG/Y-165 Iron Roughneck is developed by Bohai Equipment LiaoHe Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. cooperated with Northeast Petroluem University.Through comparative analysis the structure of domestic and foreign Iron Roughneck,and according to the requirements of offshore drilling rig and drilling technolog,to determine the structure of the Iron Roughneck which suitable for offshore drilling platform.The TZG/Y-165 Iron Roughneck of rocker arm is mainly including two parts which contain the iron base and the clamp. The clamp which contains spin buckle pliers and punching clamp makes automation of drilling string shackle come ture.Using SolidWorks software to create the 3D solid model of the whole system, and designing the structure and hydraulic system of the iron base. This paper divide iron base into three parts, the telescopic arm, the column and the lampstand. According to the working requirements of Iron Roughneck, calculated the specific parameters of the various agencies and complete the detailed design of the mechanism.Using Simulation module to analysis the static of TZG/Y-165 iron base which considering the actual working condition. Through the telescopic arm, the column and the lampstand of finite element analysis to verify the rationality of the design of iron base mechanism.Using ADAMS software simulation analysis of telescopic arm and the lampstand of planetary gear mechanism. According to the motion characteristics of telescopic hydraulic cylinder, deciding 5 order polynomial as driving function of hydraulic cylinder. We obtain parts in motion in the process of dynamic characteristic curve which determine the moving parts of reasonable structure and operation range.
