Due to the land consolidation is to land resources and its use should be the process of optimizing the organization and then it is a complicated system engineering, changed the surface of the earth ecosystem in the finishing process, the inevitable impact on the ecological environment. From the point of view of ecology, the implementation of land consolidation and rehabilitation must generate the corresponding ecological environment effect, in the project area and its background region of water resources, soil, vegetation, atmospheric environmental elements and its ecological processes, biological, etc many direct or indirect beneficial or harmful effects.This paper makes assessment on effect on ecological environment of land consolidation project in Longhai prefecture from the perspective of ecological protect, focusing on basic content, measure and assessing system of land consolidation ecological benefit assessment Then it chooses appropriate evaluation standard, using AHP to determine the weight of comprehensive and evaluation index method to calculate the comprehensive index of project area ecological environment. In land management, irrigation and drainage index, soil fertility, natural disaster prevention ability and the degree of arable land per capita, farmland complete index weights doubled, ecological comprehensive index rose, and the change trend of each evaluation factor influence is positive.The result shows that according to the requirements of engineering design, ecological comprehensive index rose to 56.43%, the highest is production function of the ecosystem, reached 69.72%.the project can improve the ecological environment and agricultural production conditions in the project area, conform to the basic requirement of sustainable farmland management, help to promote the healthy development of land consolidation, completed the goal of land management. As the requested of building A Green Longhai, guarantees the sustainable development, suggest taking the following measures:(1) Protect the basic ecological land strictly and improving rural ecological environment. Afforestation will be carried out with great efforts.(2) Attention should be paid to the effective measures to prevent land pollution. Strictly implement the objective responsibility system for the protection of water environment. Industrial projects are selected carefully, and pollution prevention and control are strengthened.(3)A harmonious society advocates eco-civilization and emphasizes sustainable development Soil erosion of cure, protection, improvement and reasonable use natural environment resource.
