Tourism resources as an important environmental resources, its development andutilization process of how to ensure a balance between the interests of the main parties,especially the environmental rights of indigenous peoples as a tourist destinationresidents, is an important issue in the current eco-tourism development process need tobe addressed. Benefit-sharing pattern in tourism resources, the destination residentstatus based on their own survival, environmental resources should be the basis forrealization of their basic right to exist, and therefore must be a priority in tourismdevelopment be guaranteed., and therefore must be a priority in tourism developmentbe guaranteed. More emphasis on the international community to protect theenvironmental interests tourist destination residents, the core content includes residentidentified, determine the scope of the environmental benefits, as well as tourism revenuesharing methods. China’s current tourism development process, residentsbenefit-sharing approach is more passive destination tourism concession, their right tothe land of tourism resources development rights, sustainable development andutilization has been seriously neglected. Protection of the environment for the fullrealization of the rights and interests of the residents destination, need to define thescope of the interests involved in relief mechanisms and legal aspects to be improved.The thesis is divided into four parts. Introductory summary and evaluation of theenvironmental benefits of sharing the status quo of China’s tourist destination residents,pointed out that the current environmental benefits destination residents share some ofthe problems existing in the process. The first part, start from the concept of tourismdestination residents, the range of environmental benefits, discussed the possibility andlegitimacy of sharing environmental benefits. The second part, an overview of theenvironmental benefits of sharing international experience, and environmental benefitsof tourism to the destination residents to share inspiration, and analyze the status ofdestination of residents identified, confirmed the scope of the environmental benefitsand implementations. The third part,analysis of environmental tourism destination residents use to share the status and barriers to the use of shared causes and institutionbuilding orientation. The fourth part, from the three aspects of relevant statutorybenefits, Choose to participate in the mechanism and improving the remedies discussedtourism destination residents how to improve the benefit-sharing mechanism.Conclusions point to understand the intention of writing the article, and pointed out theshortage.
