Study On The Relationship Between Tourists' Environmental Attitudes And Environmental Behaviors In Coastal Tourist Destinations Of Xiamen

In recent years,with the gradual rise of island tourism,cruise tourism,marine sports,marine culture and other related tourism products,the development prospect of marine tourism is getting wider and wider.However,it is a remarkable fact that with the continuous expansion and development of the marine tourism,the test of the whole marine environment is becoming increasingly severe.How to effectively improve the attitudes and behavior on the marine environment has become the key problem in the development of marine tourism.In this circumstance,this paper takes the coastal tourism area as the research area.On the basis of the questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the basic status of tourists,environmental attitude and environmental behavior and the relationship between the two,aiming to hold the general rule of the tourists from two aspects including the psychological and behavioral aspects,and probes into the related suggestions for visitor management.Based on the analysis and ventication of the current situation and relationship between tourists' environmental attitudes and behaviors in coastal tourist destinations,the main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)there are significant differences between the dimensions of tourist environmental attitudes and other types of tourists' in environmental attitudes,which are composed of only three dimensions of "attitude towards the relationship between human and ocean","attitude towards marine ecological crisis" and "attitude towards marine ecological balance".But its environmental behavior dimension is exactly the same as other types of tourist dimensions,including "ecological management behavior","Consumer behavior" and "Persuasion".(2)the attitude of tourists towards the marine environment is not clear as a whole,and there is a great difference in the specific indicators of environmental behavior.In general,visitors done better in keeping good environmental hygiene habits and following the scenic spot rules and regulations,but the possibility of persuading others through speech and action is very small.(3)the tourists' age,education,occupation and income have no significant influence on the environmental attitude and environmental behavior of the visitors.Significant variance only occurs when visitors' gender is different,which lies in visitors'attitudes towards marine ecological balance but not their environmental behavior.(4)there is a significant correlation between environmental attitudes and environmental behavior of visitors in coastal areas:environmental attitudes of visitors have a significant impact on environmental behavior,but the effect of environmental behavior on environmental attitudes only exists in the group of "staggers".In order to promote the sustainable development of coastal tourism,this paper further puts forward two specific measures,which is composed of the publicity and education to strengthen the environmental attitude and the comprehensive management to guide the environmental behavior.
