Lubricating oil is known as blood of mechanical equipment. However,the workingenvironment of lubricating oil is very complex, which may cause a series of chemicalreactions of lubricating oil. The reactions lead to the change of the performance oflubricating oil. The lubricating oil monitoring is necessary to ensure the equipment safelyand normally running. When the lubricating oil replacement is needed, it is necessary forcleaning oil contamination in the pipeline. Therefore, it is important to develop a kind ofgreen, efficient and environmental lubricating oil cleaning agent.A preparation method of lubricating oil cleaning agent was studied as follows:Firstly, water-based cleaning agent was prepared. More specifically, the surfactantwas selected and compounded according to HLB value, cloud point and surface tension.After that, the degreasing rate was tested. The experiment results showed that thedegreasing rate could reach92.3%at the temperature of25℃, with the formula below:surfactant tween was0.1%; tween-20:tween-60=3:7; promoter Na2Si03was0.25%.Secondly, vegetable oil-based cleaning agent was prepared. The main component ofvegetable oil-based cleaning agent is fatty acid methyl ester, which is obtained bytransesterification. The factors, such as the catalyst, molar ratio of methanol to oil,reaction time, reaction temperature, the type and amount of solvent, were studied. Theoptimal conditions of vegetable oil-based fatty acid methyl ester are as follows: thecosolvent is petroleum ether, molar ratio of methanol to oil is8:1, reaction temperature is60℃and the catalyst is KOH. On these conditions, the yeild can achieve93.2%. Theformulation of vegetable oil-based cleaning agent is as follows: vegetable oil-based fattyacid methyl ester is77.8%; OP-10is2%; NMP is20%; BTA is0.1%. The experimentverified that the degreasing rate is higher than97.0%when cleaning the lubricating oil.Thirdly, a performance test method of vegetable oil-based cleaning agent wasestablished. Through the method, viscosity, acid value, moisture and other physical andchemical properties was studied then. The result showed that viscosity, acid value andmoisture concentration are3.31mm2/s,0.201mgKOH/g and0.021%, respectively. Theperformance satisfies the the requirement of lubricating oil cleaning agent, and the testmethod can be used to the evaluating of lubricating oil performance. |
