Completion plays an important role in oil and gas exploration. Perforated completion is widely used both in China and aboard as the most common way of completion. The capacity of perforated wells maybe equal or even more than ideal’s by choosing the optimal perforation parameters and perforating technology which can minimize the damage to the reservoir. We can’t use conventional thermal recovery technology because viscous crude oil in Lukeqin is buried deeply and wellbore heat loss a lot. The major mining methods are gas buff-puff, water flooding, mixed with light oil in pumps, chemical flooding and viscosity reduction and so on. The evaluation of perforated completion production is different from the common reservoir, because the viscosity of heavy oil is high as the non-Newtonian fluid, so it is necessary to study on the optimization design of perforated completion for heavy oil in Lukeqin.Through the Chinese and foreign literature researches, this paper gets the calculation model of perforated completion for heavy oil, which combines with the skin of perforated completion and is based on the formula of heavy oil well capacity what is derived from the heavy oil flow equations. Analyzing the influence of perforation parameters upon the skin of perforating and the heavy oil production, such as perforating depth, hole diameter, hole density, phase angle and so on. Then building a physical model and solving by using numerical simulation to find the key factors which influence well production and the way to improve the production by changing the influence of perforation parameters on the heavy oil well production in the simulation. Study on the optimization design of perforated completion which contains the design of perforation parameters, the choice of perforating technology and the design of perforating pressure differential. Under balance perforating will reduce the damage to the reservoir. The target function of the perforation parameters is the productivity ratio of heavy oil wells. The optimal perforating scheme is taken the productivity ratio, following process measures and the optimal choice of perforating under the condition on the spot into consideration. This paper study on the optimization design of perforated completion of the Lu8block and recommend the way of perforated completion which is based on the reservoir, geology and development status in Lukeqin.
