As an important part of Oil and Natural Gas Drilling engineering, drilling fluid technology plays a key role in ensuring the safety,quality and efficiency of drilling project. During this reseasrch, both laboratory experiment and workplacement has been taken.Fordrilling fluidinhibition, laboratroy experiment has been taken for the linear expansion rate and cutting recovery rate; whilist the salt resistance tests has been done through adding 4% sodium chloride and 1% calcium sulfate and measuring its performace inresisting salt pollution. Researsh also showsthis zwitterionic poly sulfonated drilling fluid present with better lubricity.Conventional density drilling fluid lossing and rheological properties has been evaluated in laboratory. Ordinary bentonite slurry has been used to maintain a higher viscosity,ensure sand fillted in large borehol. The high viscosity provides leak proofing effect.On the other hand, using this drill fluid result with a high inhibition, better controlling of the rheology, ensuring the rock carring ability of drilling fluid and prevent excessive friction of wall, controling good filtration and property stable. Drilling fuild has been used in Tuha Lukeqin oil wells, directional wells and horizontal wells. In the field application, the performance of the drilling fluid has been adjusted, with good effect. This can ensure the smooth construction of the drilling project, also shortened the drilling cycle. The laboratory research and field tests show that the system has excellent rheology, inhibition, strong sand carrying ability, lubricity and anti collapse ability. Performance is relatively stable, proper rheological parameters, and well reservoir protection effect. It meets the request of entire well drilling and oil reservoir in Lukeqin district.
