Yingxiong Ling Uplift is located at Youyanshan-Da Wusi tectonic belt of Mang Y depression basin in the west of Qaidam Basin, which has very plentiful oil and gas resources. This area belongs to the typical complex mountainous region, and the data signal-to-noise ratio is extremely low, it once be known as the "forbidden zone" of seismic exploration.Basing on the YinXiongLing Uplift’s specific geology condition, A very deep research have done at the field seismic acquisition. According to the achievement, Seismic data’s quality has been improved. On the geometry side, HD-WAZ technology was first time ever introduced into foothill seismic acquisition in Qaidam basin. In order to optimizing the design and workflow, four geometry parameters which are receiver line spacing, fold cover, azimuth and shot/trace density were perfected on field experiment. On the dynamite side, shallow well and large combination was proven to improve the data quality. On the receiver side, Due to different type/combination/spacing of geophone was tested. Best practice has been chosen according to the results’S/N ratio. On the foothill construction side, High resolution remote sensing system has been used to support conducting. Automatic quality control, High efficient drilling technology, Limited guarding acquisition technology have increasing the productivity. This paper is on a comprehensive basis, summarizes and puts forward a set of3D acquisition technology that is suitable for foothill region at Yingxiong Ling Uplift, the application of the technology and method, which effectively meets the urgent needs of integration of YingDong oil field exploration and development, expands the scope of exploration and prospects, and provides a certain reference and guidance significance for seismic acquisition in subsequent similar regions.
