Geomagnetic field is closely related to the interior structure of Earth. A large number of observations and researches show that the angel of magnetic azimuth in epicentral area would be obvious anomaly within a few minutes to several days before an earthquake of magnitude 5 or over. Therefore, a research in abnormal information of the angel at an impending earthquake not only deepens the knowledge and under-standing of seismomagnetic effect, but also probably become one of the important ways of earthquake early-warning.Based on the background of the research on earthquake early-warning and on the basis of exploring characteristics of the change of the angel at an impending earthquake, design and research on a monitor platform of the abnormal signal of geomagnetic before Earthquake have been made in this paper. The working principle of this platform is real-time monitoring the angle and then identify the abnormal information of the angel by an intelligent algorithm, by sending them to a PC and using MATLAB to emulate and analyze them, and finally find the center frequency. Hence, a difference-value method is proposed to segregate separate external field from internal field and a threshold-delay method to identify the abnormal information of the angel, and achieves the design of hardware and software of slave computer and the MATLAB program of host computer. The design of hardware circuit of the slave computer mainly includes the design of the angel of magnetic azimuth acquisition circuit, Micro-controllers preprocessing circuit, GSM, sound and light alarm circuit, liquid crystal display circuit, infrared remote control circuit and data communication circuit. The design of software of the slave computer is composed of the angel of magnetic azimuth acquisition program, data analysis and pretreatment program, man-machine and communication program, etc. The MATLAB program of host computer is used primarily for GUI serial port communica-tion, time-domain simulation, spectral analysis, measure of center frequency, data store and alarm function, etc. Although this platform take the angel as a monitoring and analyzing object, it is applicable to any other earthquake precursor information. Such as abnormal infra-audible sound of earthquake precursory, just use a sensor of infraaudi- ble sound instead of magnetometer and modify the corresponding parameter informa-tion.Taken Songming earthquake in Yunnan province happened on March 9,2015 as the example, the test on the platform elaborated. The results showed as follows:each module can work normally; safe and reliable communication between modules; and it can set some parameters like alarm threshold value and delay time according to the actual demand. Finally, the main work and outlook summarized, and some corrective measures proposed.
