Preliminary Reconstruction Of Typhoon Incident In The South Of China

With the increasing impact of typhoon disasters to modern society, the research on tropical cyclone increasingly become a hot issue. However, typhoon-related measurement data is in a short time, it is insufficient to support its long period of research, historical documents have a natural advantage in this regard. In this paper, historical climate documents are used to collect typhoon-related information on the southern coast in the Qing Dynasty, then use them create a database. Explore the method that historical documents rebuild typhoon events and rebuild the entry typhoon events one by one on Chinese southern coast in the Qing Dynasty, finally rebuilt715typhoons. On this basis, this paper make case studies and combine with the characteristics of modern Typhoon to research the large-scale regularity of the typhoon in the Qing Dynasty.
