Enterprises in China are going through a transforming economy, which is under-developed and of high uncertainty. With joining in WTO, China has been opening up more and more industries to the foreign companies. Therefore, Chinese enterprises face great challenge and uncertainty. How to gain a hyper normal development to overcome the complicated and intense competition is the key issue discussed in this paper.By introducing the concept of field in physics, this paper sets up the field of strategy. Based on the definition of strategic field, strategic demand, the gradient, divergence and laws of strategic field are explored. Then the map of strategic field is introduced to illustrate the application of strategic field and cases are provided to analyze different types of strategic field. At last, the case of UT-Starcom is analyzed to measure energy of the strategic field.The application of field theory in strategic management is an innovative approach to strategic management research. This paper is trying to construct a complete model to help companies gain a nonlinear development.
