The determination of work quota is the foundation of production management, and is the basic of production, planning, work balancing and personnel allocation. It also has great influence in improving productivity and performance evaluation of workers. So, having an accurate work quota to help enterprise to realize elaborate management is nesscessary. Now, for the production line operations, scientific methods are widely used to determining work quota. But research on determining work quota of a material handling operator is few. In this theisis, for a automotive parts manufacturing enterprises, Methods Time Measurement(MTM) is used to solve this problem.First, the thesis introduces the basic theory of work quota, and presents the MTM system in detail. Then, choose the operations of a material handling operator in S section of a factory to study this problem. The operational process is analyzed in detail, and it is then optimized.Second, this thesis introduces the concept of process architecture in MTM, and then this method is used to establish the process architecture of material handling operator. By doing so, the productivity of process is improved.Lately, this thesis uses MTM to code, analyze the time needed from the operations at the basic level to the operations at highest level. Finally the time for all the operations in the process is determined. By using MTM, one can provides elaborate work process description, so this information can used to provide useful suggestions.The obtained results are implemented and good result are achieved.The achievement in this thesis has practical application value, the method of determining the operational time for material handling operator in S section is useful for other section of the factory.It also provides important reference to other enterprise when for determining work quota of material handling operator. |
