This paper analyzes the variation trend of approved and supplying land for industrialand mining warehouses, as well as the quantity of fixed-asset investment, total industrialoutput value, fiscal revenue for industrial and mining warehouse in Changchun City fromthe year2003to2010. Using field investigation data of144typical industry enterprises,this article chooses three aspects, including utilization strength, input level and outputlevel, to analyze the land for industrial and mining warehouse in typical area and keyindusties. Data envelopment analysis is used for researching on the utilization efficiencyof144enterprises’ land for industrial and mining warehouse. According to this article,conclusions are drawn as follow: 1. Between2007and2009, the economic input-output indicators of unit miningwarehouse space increased. The consumption of the major indicators occupying miningwarehouse space decreased year by year in Changchun City. In the meantime, the level ofland saving and intensive utilization increased.2. Generally, plot ratio of investigated enterprises’ land for industrial and miningwarehouse are low. Investment intensity of investigated enterprises in automobile industry,pharmaceutical industry and opto-electronic information industry reaches the standard, butnot including the agricultural and subsidiary processing industry. Erdao district andLvyuan district is qualified, while all the others are not.3. There are88.16%enterprises of automobile industry are invalid for the DEA.Agricultural and subsidiary processing industry has53.85%enterprises is invalid for theDEA, which is the lowest in all four industries. There are more invalid units in all fourindustries than valid units. That means utilization efficiency of enterprises’ land forindustrial and mining warehouse in all kinds of industries ore enterprises has a large roomto improve. Enterprises in Kuancheng district have the lowest proportion of invalid unitsfor the DEA, which is33.33%. Erdao district is in the second place, which is66.67%. Thisindex in other districts is no less than80%. That means utilization efficiency ofenterprises’ land for industrial and mining warehouse in all administrative areas has a largeroom to improve.4. In these four industries, the same reason which causes the enterprises have lowutilization efficiency in land for industrial and mining warehouse is redundant land input.5. In these seven areas, the reason why enterprises in High-tech Development Zonehave low utilization efficiency in land for industrial and mining warehouse is redundantlabor force input. For the automobile economic development zone is lacking of tax. Restof areas are all related to redundant land input.
