Government Strategies Shiguai Baotaou Manufacturing And Logistics Industry Linkage Development

Industrial structure embodies a country’s economic development level. Under the tide of worldwide industrial transfer and upgrading, China has been a global manufacturing country. Compared with developed nations, however, China is far away from the status of global powerhouse, owing to logistics industry’s relatively inadequate development which supports manufacturing especially. Along with the improving requests of worldwide manufacturing informationization and service customization’s degree, the upgrading of manufacturing relies more and more on its close interaction with other industries such as logistics. In view of this and for the sake of optimizing China’s industrial structure, the State Council unveiled the restructuring and revitalization plan of logistics industry which explicitly put forward the interactive engineering between manufacturing and logistics to be one of its nine key projects, accomplishing the two industries’better and faster growth.Based on the Shiguai District of Baotou City, this thesis analyzed the actual development of its manufacturing and logistics, then expatiated upon the interaction necessity progressively from Nation and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Baotou and Shiguai, to manufacturing and logistics enterprises, followed by testing the interaction possibility grounded on Shiguai’s objective basis, interaction opportunity and advantage. Secondarily, after proposing the interactive logistics park mode that works on interaction, it made the general plan of Shiguai logistics park intensively from strategic orientation, layout, logistics network and public information platform, together by designing the park’s primary function, extended function and supporting service function. On this basis, the thesis probed and established policy driving, information sharing and service innovation being Shiguai’s industrial interactive tactics. Hope that the conclusions can provide some theoretical direction and practical references for Shiguai’s industrial interaction and structure optimization.
