| The tremendous contrast between eastern and western regions in China is one of the major problems which puzzling Chinese sustained economic and social development. Promoting the coordination of development in eastern and western regions has become an important strategic issue on today’s Chinese development. The New Eurasian Continental Bridge (NECB) is a link bridge and economic belt, which across three regions of Eastern and Western of China promoting Western’s development and opening. According to the recent studies, the promotion of the NECB and trade commodity structure of Western provinces along the bridge in China has been optimized.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction which introduces research background, research review of domestic and foreign, and briefly presents the research methods and technical route, in order to support the theory and thought of this thesis. The second part is the theoretical basis for the paper. This section major introduces the Channel Economic Theory, Traffic Economic Belt Theory, International and Regional Logistics Theory and theory related to trade commodity structure. Moreover, the concepts of the Trade Structure and Trade Commodity Structure are defined in this part. The third part is the main part of this paper by including the third chapter, the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter. This part chief analyze on the NECB’s influence on Trade Structure of our country’s western provinces along the bridge by using the method of quantitative analysis and empirical analysis. Especially, the third chapter introduces the general situation of the NECB in China. Furthermore, it discusses the development of the overall bridge along the western provinces, such as western provinces’present situation of economic development, channel construction, industrial structure and trade development present situation four aspects. The fourth chapter analyzes the current situation and problems of trade commodity structure in western provinces along with NECB. Basically illustrate present situation of import and export commodities structure of western provinces along NECB. The fifth chapter empirical analyzes the extent of influence of western provinces’trade structure by the NECB. This thesis chose to study the western provinces’railway Volume of Freight, Foreign Direct Investment, Per Capita of GDP, RMB Real Exchange Rate and other factors as an explanation on the trade commodity structure change in western provinces along NECB, and draw some meaningful conclusions.The last part of the paper is conclusion which shows the result and consequences of this paper. Through the above three parts of the discussion and empirical analysis, last part propose several policy recommendations which contain the policy of channel construction, policy security, international cooperation and drawing on the experiences and so on. |
