Research On The Development Of New Eurasia Continental Bridge (NECB) Economy In China

Nowadays, with the tide of economic globalization rising, international finance, technology, goods, and labor etc. transfer more frequently than before; and also, the relationship of countries become more closely. The New Eurasia Continental Bridge (NECB) plays a highly important role on this aspect, for it is the only road linking China to middle and south Asian and Europe countries. Besides, it is also rather beneficial for promoting the cooperation of western and eastern china, accelerating the Chinese economy develop faster and uniformly and also enhancing the economic and trade relationship with counties along the bridge. After more than ten-year development, NECB has gained a crucial status on transportation and economy. But, facing the complex and drastic competition, NECB is still on a long way to exhibiting its great potential due to the lack of understanding and slow economic development of internal regions along the bridge. As a result, the NECB maintain the status of "connecting without expediting".In this paper, we develop the discussion in four parts. Firstly, we introduce the basic theory such as the theory of traffic economic belt, theory of growth pole, theory of point-axis system etc. for NECB economy. Secondly, we give a description on history of NECB, its actual status of working, policy, basic establishment, theory researching and so on. Besides, we also discuss the superiority on geography, resource etc and crucial role of NECB. thirdly, all the problems NECB face, including internal and overseas, are investigated in detail. We also put forward that the problem of development for regions along the bridge in our country is the most important one to solve, which including those on conscious, layout, organizing, policy, person with ability, and foundation works etc. we also analyze the cause of above problem. In the last part, based on theory and practice, we provide many effective and instructive ways to solve the problems NECB face. The main points are as following: firstly, we should expedite realizing the total stratagem of NECB development in our country; secondly, enhancing the training and reserving of person with ability and increasing the building of basic establishments; thirdly, developing the traveling and environmental economy to realize the persisting growth for NECB economy; finally, we propose to establish the special department to promote the international cooperation and harmony mechanism.
