The thesis was taken the background of Schneider PLC (Probrammable Logic Controller) design and manufacture process. The thesis discussed Schneider had been existing problems such as high product cost and need continuously improved product quality, via analysis of PLC marketing share, product quality and customer satisfication feedback. The writer summarizes some reasons and provides actions. And emphasizes the shortcoming of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) application during design step and product manufacture step, it is very important reason to cause long time of product development and product cost increased. And it also leads to material waste and high failure rate of product during unsmoothly product manufacture process. The writer alose provides some suggestions in the thesis how to use FMEA effectively to save product cost and improve product quality during design and product manufacturing step. PDCA method is applied on FEMA, because they are useful to improve FMEA efficiency and quality.
