In the era of knowledge economy,with work standard and performance baseline,firms evaluate the performance,duties and development of employees,and feedbackthe result for employees,which benefits for the development of firms and progress ofemployees’career.The performance evaluation is the key link,at the same time,it hasthe roles of managing and controlling,incentive and directing,so it is very important forresearch the performance evaluation of specified firms.Methods, which include Comprehensive analysis of employee performancequestionnaire results,the principal component analysis method, cluster analysis method,analytic hierarchy process and VIKOR sorting method,are adopted for study onemployee performance effect of XiangTan PingAn Electric Firm.The research resultshows that the performance appraisal does good for leading role of the firm’s reform,helping to transform the behavior and ideology of all employees and benefiting forform’s development deep.Some shortcoming exists though research as below.These arethat the condition of employee performance is not sufficient,the index design is notscientific,the objectivity is short of and the property of guiding is not strong.Argument is developed as followed. Firstly, the dissertation explains the researchbackground, purpose, research contents, research technique route of this research, andthen has reviewed the relation literature. Secondly, the base theory is explicitlyinterpreted.Thirdly, the general background is introduced,research design and analysismethod are led into. Frequently, explains the questionnaire design and sources of data,and explicates the reason of choosing and using the principal component analysismethod, cluster analysis method, analytic hierarchy process and VIKOR sortingmethod.Fourthly, analyses the company employee performance evaluation usingquestionnaires a, principal component analysis method, cluster analysis method,analytic hierarchy process and VIKOR sorting method.On the basis above, somecountermeasures are brought out to improve employee performance, hoping to help toresolve some practice problems,such as the establishment of the blue ocean strategy ofperformance evaluation, the performance appraisal principle determined, improvingthe system of selecting evaluation staffs, employee performance evaluation indexdesigned scientifically, diversifying the forms of company information propagation,strengthening education of company staffs and improving the communication ofperformance evaluation and results feedback promptly.In the end,conclusion is derived.
