The Study On Strategy Of Bohai Economic Rim’s Economic Development

Regional economic development is essential for the development of the whole country, now the regional economy of our country is facing low level of integration and imbalances. So to realize the coordinated development of regional economy and promote the healthy development of China’s economic and social problems are urgent problems to be solved.This paper focuses on the Bohai Economic Rim, by using of Growth Pole theory as a research tool, adopting research methods such as literature research, data analysis, and lessons learned to analyze strengths and constraints in the process of development of Bohai Economic Rim, eventually makes recommendations about the regional development.Bohai economic circle is the third major growth pole of China. Its economic analysis and strategic planning, not only has great significance for their own development, but also makes major function for the overall coordination of our country.Structural framework and main content of this paper are as follows:Introduction.This chapter include three aspects:background and significance, literature review, research methods and innovation.This chapter focus on the research status and main points of Growth Pole theory,as well as the research about Bohai Economic Rim of our scholars.The first part,Growth Poles and Regional Economic Development Overview.This chapter discusses two issues:First, the basic concept of regional economic policy and its main features; Second,Our country formulated regional economic planning in different periods and established a series of regional growth pole.The second part,Strategic analysis of Bohai Economic Rim in the perspective of Growth Pole theory. This chapter introduces the basic situation of the Bohai Economic Rim, including location, scope and included areas and central cities,then lists the main features and functions of its primary role which as growth poles in the Bohai Economic Rim,finally, describes the advantages and limitations for the development of the Bohai Economic Rim in detail.The third part,Discussion on strategic management initiatives of Bohai Economic Rim development.This part is to put forward four proposals on the basis of analysis about advantages and disadvantages in the development of Bohai Economic Circle:Strengthen the overall planning and creating regional growth poles;Clear city location and improve the cooperation mechanism;Respect for market mechanisms and limit administrative intervention;Develop recycling economy,and achieve ecological development.Innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in two aspects:First,the unique perspective.This paper, starting from the growth pole theory,taking the rookie namely Bohai Economic Rim for example,combines the theory of economic development and China’s regional economic development practices,uses theoretical analysis to promote practice development. The perspective is more unique.Meanwhile, the article selects key development areas in Twelfth Five Year Plan and also China’s third growth pole-the Bohai Economic Rim, discusses its current situation and future development strategy. Second, the article launches a comprehensive interpretation around the "growth pole","Regional Development", discusses in detail the status of the development of the Bohai Economic Rim and discusses the advantages and constraints in detail in the further development, and on this basis puts forward development proposals.
