Modern science and technology have become a national comprehensive nationalstrength and international competitiveness of the world’s most favorable means, so far,the world has undergone a revolution in science and technology four times, and eachtime the arrival of the production of scientific and technological revolution haveprompted people’s lifestyles have a significant change, pushing forward march ofhuman civilization. However, at the same time, the negative effects of science andtechnology is gradually revealed, the harm far-reaching. How do these two sides ofthe technology, how to use its maximum positive value and validity while effectivelycircumvent the negative value, has become a contemporary hot topic in variousfields. From the Marxist perspective view of technology, modern science andtechnology is divided into four chapters elaborate social functions and ways ofimproving the institutional strengthening of the corresponding analysis.The first chapter, Introduction. Introduces the research background andsignificance of this, current research, research ideas and methods, including ways ofthinking, literature, historical analysis and application development and dialectical.The second chapter, the Marxist analysis of the concept of the social function ofscience and technology. The main analysis of the Marxist classical writers, includingMarx, Engels and the main points of contemporary Chinese Marxism thinkers onunderstanding the social function of science and technology, including Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao. These views guidelines for nationalproduction and life direction, guidance peoples form the correct values and ethics ofscience and technology, and how to develop guidelines for government policies andregulations made an indelible contribution.The third chapter analyzes the social function of modern science and technology.Firstly, the positive features of their social development, which is a positive role, including the promotion of both material and spiritual civilization and commondevelopment. Economic base determines the superstructure, all are based on thedevelopment of social productivity-based, science and technology to promote therapid progress of productive forces. While also improving the level of humancognition changed the way human cognition. Secondly, the analysis of the negativefeatures of science and technology for social development, including the contentsreflect its negative features, causes and preventive measures.Chapter IV, Chinese modern science and technology to improve the way thesystem analysis. Contemporary China is at a critical period of social transition, facedwith multiple domestic and international pressure to find a breakthrough bydeveloping modern science and technology. Unswervingly adhere to the Marxistconcept of science and technology, the importance of education and human resources,science and technology to improve the ethical and legal way for China to become themost effective development of science and technology.
