Energy, which directly relates the national economy and people’s livelihood, has most attention from the government. Because of geographical reasons, our country’s oil and gas resources is not rich. Coal has certain comparative advantage on the contrary which makes our country become the world’s largest coal collection capacity and consumption country. The coal industry also becomes one of the important energy which support our country’s industrial development. China has the most abundant coal resources in the world. China has two hundred billion tons of coal resources inventory, which accounts for nearly one in five of the entire stock of coal resources in the world. China’s coal production is about one billion tons, accounting for almost a quarter of the current world’s supply of coal resources. Our country continuously strengthen the attention of the coal enterprises.This paper, which based on the reality of the coal industry development, research Huaibei Mining Group’s product strategy. This paper analyzes Huaibei Mining Group’s internal and external environment under the support of product strategy related theory. Coal, as the world’s largest deposits of fossil fuel resources, occupies an extremely important position in the energy consumption structure in the next few decades. Coal, which is the economic development of China’s basic energy, related to the safety of China’s economic development from the point of domestic environment. The demand for coal in the past few decades also will continue to increase along with China’s social and economic progress. Huaibei Mining Group external policy advantage, at the same time, faced with the internal integration problems. Combined with Huaibei Mining Group’s existing product strategy,this paper improves existing product strategy. The product strategy can be summarized as at seven, including brand construction.
