| At present, with the continuous development of the city and economic prosperity, the living standards of residents have increased. But at the same time, the rapidgrowth of urban motor vehicle ownership gets beyond the carrying capacity ofexisting urban roads, and traffic congestion, road congestion and deterioration ofurban ecological environment problems have followed. It is clear that many citiesbegin to widen the road and build elevated fast track only can alleviate trafficproblems in a short period, but not sustainable. After a long-term study found thatgiven priority to the development of city public traffic system is a feasible andeffective measure to improve the urban traffic situation. Subsequently, subway, lightrail and other rail rapid transit system are developed rapidly, and some big domesticcities have begun to build rail transportation one after another. Since the constructionof rail transit system has construction period long, large investment and other factors, bus rapid transit system has become the favor object for many large andmedium-sized cities to develop the public transport system.BRT system is a kind of new large-capacity rapid transit mode. It not only hasthe advantages of public transportation bus system, such as less funding forconstruction and maintenance and short construction period, but also has theadvantages of rail transportation system, such as larger carrying and delivery capacityand higher service level. Therefore, it has been recognized by experts and scholars aswell as the relevant government departments both at home and abroad. BRT systemwas introduced into China late. It is in rapid development period now, and only a fewcities can complete the implementation of the BRT project, so it is very important toanalyse and evaluate the specific implementation of these cities’ BRT operations aswell as further analyse the applicability of BRT. Based on the evaluation result, wenot only can find out the deficiency of the system, but also can provide reference forother cities that plan to build bus rapid transit system. In this paper, through reading and analyzing a large number of references aboutBRT system both at home and abroad, summarizing the existing researchachievements, the operation effect on BRT is post evaluated, and, based on the results, the applicability of BRT is analysed. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1, Definition, composition, characteristics and functions position of urban BRTsystem are introduced and the applicability key factors of the BRT are analyzed.2, Evaluation principles, contents and setting principles and selecting method ofevaluation index of projects post evaluation are reviewed. Combine with the existingBRT systems comprehensive evaluation index systems, a suitable index system whichis used to evaluate BRT systems operation effect is established, and the quantitativemethod of each index is given.3, Through describing the main evaluation methods at home and abroad andsummarizing the merits and demerits of these various methods, the author proposes touse the attribute recognition mode established on attribute mathematical methods topost evaluate of the urban bus rapid transit systems operation effect. In the paper, themode is improved. The Confidence is determined quantitatively based on thestatistical mindset and the weight of evaluation indexes are assigned objectively byentropy method based on information entropy theory, which can make the evaluationresults more believable.4, Six cities that have built bus rapid transit systems are selected as evaluatedobject, and the operation effect of these cities’ BRT No.1line are evaluated by usingthe improved attribute recognition model established in this paper. Combine theevaluated results comprehensive analysis and the BRT applicable key factors analysis, the thesis propose three different BRT modes that be fit for three city types. This paper aims to propose the use of improved attribute recognition model at theoperation effect post evaluation on urban bus rapid transit system and introduce a newevaluation method; Besides, based on the evaluation results, the applicability of busrapid transit to different types cities is analysed, which can provide some referencesignificance for other cities to build and operate bus rapid transit system. |
