The size of the enterprise closely related with its ability toresist risks, directly decides the enterprise’s survival and development. So, It’simportant to understand the relationship between the technology innovation、the scale and the performance, find out the gap between Shanxi listed enterpriseand the other provinces.From combing the literature for the technology innovation、the scale andthe performance to define the concept of the three. In order to investigate therelationship between the technical innovation ability, the size and theperformance. This paper, based on Shanxi and other provinces in the sameindustry as the research object, build enterprises’ innovation ability evaluationindex system to analyze the relationship between the technical innovationability, the size and the performance by descriptive statistics, correlation analysisand regression model. And to find the difference between Shanxi province andthe other provinces inefficiency. Research shows that: Listed enterprisetechnology innovation and Tobin Q have a relationship with the size; Enterpriseperformance has a relationship with R&D in one year; Enterprise performance isrelated to the technical personnel proportion and the proportion of technicalassets. Shanxi Province has a gap in the aspect of technology innovationinvestment、highly educated personnel、technical assets、and performance to theother provinces. And according to these gaps, giving some suggestions.
