To better restructure and update its business, China Railway Engineering Group Co. Ltd. puts forward a "diversified operation" strategy which combines its6decades’experience in the field of transportation technology and fully taps into its advantages in market information, market-orientation, core technology, core personnel, system integration and system solution. Ensuring the healthy and orderly development of main businesses, CREEC goes upstream and downstream in the industry chain for the re-layout and optimization of the company’s business structure, extending its business scope from traditional survey and design to product development, construction integration and post-construction operation. Adhering to the principle of being "moderate, limited, and relevant" and making use of the company’s professionalism and expertise in survey and design, CREEC promotes product industrialization which is based on the transformation of technological achievements; it deems product industrialization as an important way to adjust the company’s business structure and cultivate and invest into it. With its advantages in market information, market-orientation, core technology, core personnel, system integration and system solution in the field of transportation, CREEC extends its business scope from survey and design to construction and operation to include the product and service of new requirements, new systems, and new technological solutions in the construction (survey, design, and construction) and operation of rail transit as the company’s development orientation.
