A Study On Synergies Evaluation Of Financial Industry Merger And Acquisition

In recent years, with the development of China’s financial industry, some of the major commercial banks begin to merge other banks. On the one hand, China’s financial market continues to mature, the legal system improves constantly, that accelerate the development of the financial industry; on the other hand, the market directed economy led to more intense competition, accelerated process of China interest rates liberalization reform and financial disintermediation. Commercial banks today are looking for new way to develop their business. With the case of Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China buying Shenzhen Development Bank Limited Company, the paper attempts to analyze the management synergies, financial synergies, economic synergies in it. And then the paper will extend to the financial industry mergers and acquisitions synergies study, in order to give some suggestions for our future financial industry mergers and acquisitions in China.
