Analysis Of Demand For Agricultural Technology Willingness To Development Of Characteristic Agriculture In The Guanzhong Area

Farmers are the main agricultural technology adoption, Research on agricultural technology needs of farmers is contribute to developing effective agricultural policy and addressing the current imbalance of supply and demand of agricultural technology. As the new direction of agricultural development, Specialty agriculture is an important way to effectively solve the problem of farmers’ income and rural surplus labor force issues.Under the theoretical guidance of Technology diffusion, the behavior of farmers, agricultural technology needs, farmers’agricultural technology adoption behavior in11counties of Guanzhong district is studied from the microscopic perspective bottom view. Agricultural technology needs strength, the content of agricultural technology needs and its priorities order and demand of technical services type and its priority order are analyzed through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Evaluation factor system from five aspects of personal characteristics of farmers, household characteristics, agricultural production technology environment, agricultural production policy environment and natural geographic environment is built to study the demand willingness to agricultural technology adoption and its influential factors. Logistic regression model is adopted to analyze. Through these studies, behavioral characteristics of farmers in agricultural technology adoption are revealed. Build more perfect and scientific technology diffusion service system to provide the basis for agricultural technical services. Supply and demand of agricultural technology is effectively docked.The main conclusions are as follows:1. There was a significant negative correlation between the strength of demand for agricultural technology and distance to the source of agricultural technology, namely agricultural technology demand presents significant "proximity effect". Study area is divided into three types:demand strength zones of high, medium and low. High intensity of agricultural technology demand, the adoption rate of new technology is more than50%, including:Yangling, Wugong and Zhouzhi.Medium intensity of agricultural technology demand, the adoption rate of new technology between30%-40%, including Mei County, Linwei, Fengxiang and Lintong District.Low intensity of agricultural technology demand, the adoption rate of new technology is less than30%, including Qishan, Pucheng and Chengcheng.2. Technical types of agricultural technology needs sorting first three in the Guanzhong area were:pest control technology, agriculture information technology (including market information) and seed technology. Agricultural technology service offerings and its priority sequence is calculated. In order of priority are individual counseling (46.15%), group counseling (36.15%) and technical data (10.77%).3. Model of factors affecting agricultural technology needs is constructed from five aspects of personal characteristics, basic characteristics of family, technical environment, policy environment, geography and environment, whose factors contribute to or hinder the needs of farmers in agricultural technology. The results were as follows:Three very significant factors is the technical channel, credit conditions, technical source distance. Seven more significant factors is the scale of land, agricultural cooperatives, and agricultural technology service times, the role of promotion agencies, terrain, and distance to market and impact of disasters.4. According to the current demand for specialty agricultural technology, Recommendations of further optimization of the supply of agricultural technology policy support system, exploration of the effective development path of specialty agricultural technology and construction of a diversified government-led, farmer-centered technology promotion system are presented.
