The Research On The Evaluation Of Sustainable Consumption Of Urban Residents In China

As an important part of sustainable development,sustainable consumption causeddomestic and foreign scholars more specific and detailed studies. As the final consumers ofthe production,the influences of residents’ consumption for the whole economy and societyis bigger and bigger. Residents’ consumption behavior is based on the choice of all kinds ofconsumer goods to meet the needs of survival. But seemingly microscopic behaviorbrought a huge impact to the economy,society,environment and so on.Nowadays thesociety is facing a series of ecological problems such as resource depletion andenvironment pollution.The development of human beings is thought-provoking. Toachieve the purpose of the sustainable consumption,we should not only encourageresidents to choose a scientific and reasonable way of consumption,but also realize thecoordinated development of economy, society and environment.On the study of the sustainable consumption,domestic and foreign scholars putforward a series of sustainable development theory,and set up many the evaluation indexsystem of regional sustainable consumption. But the study of urban sustainableconsumption behavior from the angle of the micro consumers is lacking. Aiming at thissituation,the article combines with the domestic and foreign research on the theory and theevaluation index system of sustainable consumption,and chooses the urban residents in ourcountry as the research object. On the basis of urban compound ecosystem theory,thearticle analyzes the problems of the sustainable consumption of urban residents in ourcountry,and sets up index system of urban residents’ consumption situation in our country.In three ways: the economic subsystem,social subsystem and environment subsystem,thearticle analyzes the situation of sustainable consumption of urban residents in China. And itchooses entropy value method to analyze the economic, social and environmental systemof the urban residents in our country and the sustainability and coordination index inquantitative analysis. Finally after the comprehensive evaluation,the article finds theproblem and puts forward the solution to the problem.
