Study On Application Of SAP In Schaeffler Supply Chain Management

As the continuously development of global economic integration and the serious external competition, how the enterprise improve the supply chain management and decrease the operation cost to fulfill the global integration by information technology is common concerned. This paper introduced the implementation of SAP in Schaeffler Ningxia, especially in Supply Chain and provide good example for enterprises, which is implementing or will start to use ERP.Schaeffler Ningxia is a sub company of Schaeffler Group, which is the last one have no SAP in Great China area. In order to improve the information technology and management, to standardization of information, management level decide to implement ERP system. So that we can reduce the cost and realize the target of maximal value.At the beginning, the paper introduces the theories of information technology, supply chain management and ERP, SAP basic module and the relationship between. Secondly, introduces the implementation and application of SAP in Schaeffler Ningxia, and the detail operation of the business. Then, evaluate the implementation and arise the problems and the relative measurements of SAP in Schaeffler.The experience of implementation and application on SAP in Schaeffler Ningxia is an very good example for other enterprise to refer. So that the enterprises can avoid lots of problems during the process of ERP implementation.
