This paper examines the importance of strategic decision in the light of changes in investment climate that can affect supply chain management. The case study was done in B Company, one of the largest manufacturers of metal products for construction application in Algeria. The first chapter presents information about the investment climate in Algeria, and about the government plan to improve the infrastructure of the country by letting many foreign construction companies invest in the field. It highlights how the supply chain functioned at the beginning of the Company’s founding, and points out some problems that B Company encountered after the investment climate in Algeria changed significantly. In order to conduct research on this subject, I interviewed managers in B Company in Oran, and studied some documents provided primarily by commercial department of B Company.
