The Research On Inventory Management Of KF Company Under Supply Chain Model

Under supply chain management, the inventory and the level of inventory management ability not only affect the cost of a single enterprise, but also limit and restrict the efficiency and operation of each company of the whole supply chain. Inventory management and inventory control is the core part of enterprise management and is the key factor for each company located on different node of the supply chain to cooperate to achieve a win-win situation and to realize integrated management. With the widely application of supply chain management theory, the problems of inventory management and control under supply chain model are constantly exposed and need to be addressed promptly. So, in order to improve the efficiency of supply chain and save related cost, the active research on inventory management and control has great significance and also become the research focus in the present.The research object of this thesis is inventory management of KF Company. As a non-government owned hi-technology listed company, KF Company has a lot of subsidiaries and the company’s main business is research, production and sales of modified plastic.This paper first reviews the present study of inventory management both in China and abroad. Part two mainly expounds the traditional inventory management theory and inventory management theory under supply chain model. Part three introduces the basic situation of KF Company under the whole plastic industry and analyzes the present inventory management status of KF Company and then finds out the factors and problems that affect inventory management. The last part puts forward some improvement measures and suggestions from the perspective of theory of supply chain inventory management according to the inventory management problems of KF Company.Finally, hope this thesis will be helpful to the improvement of company’s inventory management of modified plastic industry.
