The Research On The County Economic Competitiveness Of Qian County

County economy, the basic unit and the important basis of the national economy, is thelink between city and countryside and serves the development of national economy. Thesustained and healthy development of county economy is of great significance for thesustainable development of the national economy; therefore research on the county economiccompetitiveness is of practical and guiding significance for regional economic development.So far, a fixed and unified concept on county economic competitiveness has not been reachedin the academic field of our country. Scholars at home have different points of view, differentfoci, different research purposes, and the definition of county economy is also different, whileforeign scholars mostly research on county economy in different indicators and system.Therefore, starting from the county economy, this paper is based on a case study of Qianxiancounty economic competitiveness. The strength of the competitiveness of Qianxian countyeconomy can be drawn and the results are analyzed and summarized. The study providesdecisive reference for Qianxian County to make strategic development, and has a veryimportant guiding and realistic significance for Qianxian county economy as well as forcounty economic development in the transitional period in China.On the basis of literature review of county economy at home and abroad, combined withthe present state of Qianxian county economy, this paper carries on the analysis on index ofthe county economic competitiveness. Based on the above problems, this paper adopts themethod of longitudinal comparison analysis and transverse comparative analysis, studying theadvantages and constraints on Qianxian county economy. The following conclusion can bedrawn: Qianxian county competitiveness ranked relatively low among all cities in Xianyangin Shaanxi province. This conclusion reflects the relatively low level of Qianxian countycompetitiveness. Based on theoretical and empirical tests, this paper gave the correspondingpolicy recommendations for how to improve the regional competitiveness of Qianxian Countyin order to provide reference and the direction of reform for the future economic developmentin Qianxian County.
