Income Distribution Characteristics Of Our Research And Implementation Of Income Doubling Plan Countermeasures

Since the reform and opening up, China’s economic development has made remarkable achievements. With the rapid growth of Chinese economy, the living standard of the Chinese people has greatly improved. But compared with the economic growth, residents’ income growth is relatively slow. As the widening of income distribution gap, people are increasingly discontent about various social inequities. Chinese economists and scholars have made great efforts to study the reform of the income distribution system. They put forward various views on how to realize China’s residents income doubling program. The prominent problems in the field of income distribution have not been solved yet. As per China’s residents income doubling program raised by the report at18th Party Congress, the systematic research on the link between our current problems of income distribution and income doubling program, and how to realize this program has been far from enough. The realization of China’s income doubling program bears on the immediate interests of the general public, which is a matter of justice and social stability. Meanwhile, it also affects the construction of socialism society with Chinese characteristics and the overall goal of the harmonious society.This paper studied on some countermeasures for implementing the income doubling plan by the systematic and scientific method. It started from the income distribution theory as the logical way, and reviewed the income distribution theory and practice since the founding of new China. It analyzed relevant literature information based on the experience of the foreign national income growth, and combined with the characteristics of the income distribution in China. Based on the systematically analysis of the current income distribution problems and its underlying cause, the paper discussed the necessity and feasibility and proposed to the overall goals. Finally, it concludes to some solutions to the implementation path and policy suggestions by combination with solving the problems of income distribution.
