Research On The Relationship Of High-tech Industries And Traditional Equipment Manufacturingindustries Of Northeast Region

Traditional Equipment Manufacturing Industries, which are in the core ofand play in the national economy, not embody the comprehensive strength of thecountry, but reflect international competitiveness of that. The Chinese northeastregion is an old industrial base, which presents the large proportion of theequipment manufacturing industries in entire industrial system, and thedevelopment of the equipment manufacturing industries have not been paidenough attention to, resulting in the weak competitiveness. Recently, theNortheast region are aware of the significance and urgency that high-techindustries rebuild traditional equipment manufacturing and improve its study inthe relationship of traditional equipment manufacturing industries and high-techindustries, so that high-tech industries can make a better progress in promotetraditional equipment manufacturing.This dissertation uses the input-output method and utilizes42sectorinput-output table of northeastern provinces in2002and2007to computeinfluence coefficient and affect induction coefficient in the integratedinput-output table by the weighted average algorithm. Then it makes aquantitative spread effect analysis of the three northeastern provinces of regionalhigh-tech industries and analyzes influencing factors that pulls the overall outputgrowth and caused changes in the industrial structure by attribution matrix model.In the end the paper interprets the reasons of the changes in structure oftraditional equipment manufacturing industries and high-tech industries and itspolicy implications.The paper makes a quantitative analysis on changes in the industrialstructure of the high-tech industries and traditional equipment manufacturing industries in northeast region in2002and2007. And from related degree andspread effect it studies the relationship of two types of industry. Finally, on thebasis of theoretical and empirical analysis, the paper puts forward suggestion forthe coordinated development of the traditional equipment manufacturingindustries and high-tech industries in Northeast China.
