The historical development of the precious metals market there have been hundreds of years, with the market as a safe haven investment demand increasing in recent years, the precious metals market trading has become increasingly active, precious metals prices rising, since the21st century, precious metals prices rose by more than three times, and continue to create a record high. Cancel the gold business pre-approval from2001and2002, the Shanghai gold exchange marked, although China’s precious metals market opening time is not long, but its speed is very fast, already from the spot trading of commodities to financial derivatives trading gradually shift, the people’s bank of China also create conditions for domestic precious metals into the international market, advances the strategy of hidden gold in people. Commercial banks is a financial leader in the financial markets and derivative products trading the financial markets has relatively rich experience and ability to market the precious metals markets play a greater role. Commercial banks at home and abroad to develop the precious metals business today, how the new competition in the market bigger and stronger precious metals business, accelerate the transformation of commercial banking revenues, improve non-interest margin of commercial banks will face an important issue.L as a large commercial bank, in recent years, always adhere to in order to promote local economic development as own duty, give full play to their own advantages, continuously consolidate the core guiding position in regional economic development, maintained trade lead deposit and lending business accounted for. This paper mainly through the combination of theory and practice, which is divided into six chapters.
