| With the continuous development of China’s economy and society, automobile gradually become indispensable in our daily life. OEMs focus more and more on automotive interiors style. By changing the interiors, automotive products based on the same platform can be divided into many series of derived models to meet levels of demands for different customers. In this market background, OEMs always ask interiors suppliers to update products and control cost, which means a higher requirement for interiors enterprises. They need to build an efficient and economical supplier system to satisfy interiors changing and cost control.Shenyang Jinbei Johnson Controls Automotive Interiors Co. Ltd.(SJJ) is a joint-venture enterprise to produce automotive seating and interior products. Facing the market changes, SJJ see a huge market opportunity, as well as their own shortages and find that by improving the original mode of procurement management, SJJ can enhance the profitability rapidly, so the company can get more business in the intense competition.Taking SJJ as the researching target, by using of supply chains management, procurement management and other related theories, this paper studies SJJ procurement management to reduce cost and improve procurement management efficiency. There are five parts in this paper:Part I introduces theme selection background and meaning, the study content, technology route and method; Part II reviews the relevant concepts and contents for procurement management and supplier management, and summarizes procurement management features in supply chains:Part III mainly focuses on the current status and problems for SJJ procurement management, and analyzes the reasons; based on the problems and analysis in Part III, Part IV gives a conceptual design for SJJ’s procurement management in six aspects:strategy improvement, procurement management improvement, organization structure and team member adjustment, procurement process changing, supplier management, and procurement price management; Part V gives supports to procurement management schemes in the following four aspects respectively:Supplier management system, improve of the procurement contracts management, enhangce manage suppliers relationship and improve informatization building. |
