The rapid development of China’s supermarket has opened up a new channel for the marketing of fruit and vegetables. The mode of agriculture-supermarket docking has been strongly called for to promote the cooperation of supermarkets and farmers by the government, because it may effectively protect the farmers from the low prices of products which is caused by the asymmetric information or for other reasons. It is also of great significance for mobilizing the peasants’enthusiasm for production and increasing the total income of supermarkets and farmers. Since fruit and vegetables suppliers are the beginning of the entire supply chain, the lack of effective evaluation and selection will inevitably lead to the ineffective long-term cooperation of farms and supermarkets.In this thesis, the supply program of optimal costs of supermarket based on the comprehensive ability and the number of fruit and vegetable suppliers will be searched for. By analyzing and selecting the right evaluation indexes of fruit and vegetable suppliers, a evaluation index system of the competency of suppliers will be established. Then build the matter-element model of suppliers based on the system. At last, evaluate and sort the competence of each fruit and vegetable suppliers due to the correlation function and the level characteristic variables. On this basis, adjust the number of suppliers to balance the relationship among the cost of the purchase price, procurement cooperation and procurement risk (supply interruption losses) to achieve the minimum total-cost of the supermarket. After this two-stage study, the optimal supply program is proposed. Finally set an example of the model validation. During the whole process, this paper can effectively take the unique natural attributes of agricultural products into account, such as random output and long production cycle of the agricultural products.
