Research On The Construction Of Operation Mode For "Traup China" High-tech Business Incubator

After over20years of exploration and development, China’s high-tech businessincubators has stepped into the stage of strategic development and constant innovationfrom the original imitation or copy phase. Spontaneously,the operation ideas and modesof new incubators at this stage must meet the current changing market environment andfierce competition well.The development of operating patterns of enterprise incubatorsshall be reconsidered and acknowledged.This paper aims to design the joint-stock and interlocking mode for the integrativeoperation of “high-tech business incubators，venture capitals，and Tenants”.Based on theframework of Four Factors proposed by Adrian J. Slywotzky, and through thecontrastive analysis of operating patterns of domestic and overseas high-tech businessincubators and the specialized investigations on the supply and demand of enterpriseincubators in Shenzhen, this research accordingly puts forward the basicmethodologies,top-level designs as well as executive plans to establish a new operationmode for the high-tech business incubator, called “Traup China”.The results of huge investigations and data analysis show that high-tech businessincubators could gather all kinds of creative resources,form a dynamic developingnetwork system and provide tenants with better incubating environment throughaccelerating the process of a certain operation mode,and thus give a way out for thedevelopment of China’s enterprise incubation. Business incubators are closer observersof tenant firms, and directly invest good tenants with the funds from venture capitalistsfor coupling effects.This kind of operating pattern is concluded in this paper as thejoint-stock and interlocking mode of“high-tech business incubators，venture capitals，and Tenants”.The research on the construction of operation mode of enterprise incubators in thecontext of strategic innovation provides a definite and practical solution, which hasgreat significance for the future evolution of operating pattern of high-tech businessincubators.
