Study Of The Impact Of SME Leadership Traits On Enterprises Innovation Behavior Under The Competitive Pressure

The economic crisis has intensified the market competition. Faced with the pressure ofcompetition, only the innovation could find a way out. Innovation is the motive power of thepromotion of enterprises development and also the root of enterprises development. Under thepressure of competition, different enterprises will take way of how to deal with and what ledto the differentiation of the enterprises innovation behavior.This text, from the leadership traits point of view, studied the impact of leadership traitson enterprises innovation behavior. During the theory and empirical process of study, it has agreat important theoretical value and practical significance of the understanding of thebusiness leaders on their own qualities and how to guide enterprises in their innovationactivities.Firstly, under the review of the research status, it found that although there was noshortage of scholars who studied business innovation factors, but few of them studied fromthe perspective of leadership traits. Therefore, the proposition of this theme of the paper cameout.Secondly, through the literature review and theoretical derivation from the leadershiptraits, leadership decision-making and enterprise innovation behavior, it built the theoreticalmodel that the Impact of leadership traits on enterprises innovation behavior and leadershiptraits was an intermediary.On this basis, through the case studies, it verified the results of the theoretical model.Finally, the conclusion came out that: a) leadership traits affect the enterprises innovationbehavior by affecting the leadership decision-making; b) different leadership traits will lead tothe differentiation of the enterprise innovation behavior; c) business leaders should correctlyunderstand their characteristics, and actively play a guiding role in the development ofenterprises innovation.
