Research On The Problem Of Marxist Concept Of Justice In Migrant Workers Into The City

Justice, is a kind of value orientation of social progress, is the common pursuit of all the members of the society, and it is also value goal of the government since the18th CPC National Congress. As a special group during the period of social transformation, migrant workers offer the important contribution for the process of the city. But in the process of merging into the city, they aren’t sharing the frits of development. So this causes the lack of Justice. It affects their living level and social harmony. How to solve the problem of migrant workers into the city under the guidance of Marx’s concept of Justice has the important theoretical significance and realistic meaning.Marx’s concept of justice is founded by Marx and Engels. And its formation goes through the continuous development of many classical Marxism writers, such as Lenin, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, and so on. Marx’s concept of Justice thinks that only the social class dies out and the productive power develops continuously can it be able to realize the real justice. The ultimate goal of social justice is to realize the free and comprehensive development of human. From the Marxist conception of justice, the problem of rural migrant workers into the city includes no difference, no discrimination of migrant workers’ lives that are founded by the principles of equal rights, equal opportunities, fair rules and fair distribution principle.At present, by the analysis of economic integration, social inclusion and psychological integration, China’s migrant workers are in the process of integration in the city. Society has already reflected a measure of justice by paying attention to migrant worker’s weak position, children’s compulsory education and legal assistance in protecting migrant workers. However, in the process of migrant workers, there are still some problems of lack of justice. Political equality is difficult to implement. Labor and employment repeats unfair treatment. Housing demand could not be met. The opportunity of children’s continuing education does not be equal. The social security system is not yet sound. Spiritual and cultural demands are ignored. Social discrimination and exclusion still remains. The reasons that cause these problems are the government that migrant workers flow to losing a global perspective, unreasonable policies, insufficient media guide, the absence of peasant workers’non-for-profit organizations, urban residents sense of loss, migrant workers lacking culture, the single social network and right consciousness.There are three main ways to promote the process of migrant workers into the city. First, we should strengthen the government leadership and improve the policy design into the city:strengthening the local government’s responsibilities, reforming the urban and rural dual census register system, revising the initial distribution system, improving the social security system and stipulating migrant workers’labor and employment market. Second, we should play a social role fully and construct the justice environment of urban integration:increasing the media converge for migrant workers, building a community exchange service platform for migrant workers, and enhancing urban residents’justice sense. Third, we should improve migrant workers’own capacities and optimize their body condition of the urban integration:enhancing their cultural level, expanding their communication channels and using their right.
