Research On The Development Of The Biotechnology Industry In Tianjin

As a strategic emerging industry, biotechnology industry is one of the national focus on the development of industry. The development of the biotechnology industry is realistic and strategic significance to improve the level of health care, solve the food problem, transform the traditional industries, and change the pattern of energy. After years of development, Tianjin biotechnology industry has been in the field of bio-medicine, bio-agriculture and bio-manufacturing has achieved good economic benefits, but compared with foreign biotechnology industry development, there is still a big gap. Therefore, Starting from Tianjin biotechnology industry development status, while comparing with biotechnology industry at home and abroad, identify the problem of the biotechnology industry in Tianjin, then put forward specific policy recommendations to promote the development of the biotechnology industry in Tianjin.This paper first elaborated the biotechnology industry definition, characteristics, role and development of the biotechnology industry theory, while comparing with foreign biotech industry development, pointed out the advantages and problems of the development of the biotechnology industry in Tianjin. Secondly, the principal component analysis is used to further analyze the development of the biotechnology industry in Tianjin, while comparing with30domestic provinces and cities in horizontal view, and selecting25indicator variables, such as industrial scale, financial condition. Finally, based on the analysis and empirical research, combined with the successful experience of the development of the biotechnology industry, and put forward policy recommendations from the five aspects. Including pay more attention to personnel training, and improve employment mechanism; enhance the technological innovation capability and broaden the channels of scientific and technological achievements; increase financial support to build a multi-channel financing system; foster biotechnology industry cluster; build a biotechnology industry service platform.
