Since the21st century, science and technology has made big progress, IT is updating constantly and the economy is in a rapid growth. The market environment is changing ceaselessly. Globalization and trade integration deepened day by day. The operating environment of a company is getting more and more complex. Meanwhile, the global market competition is coming into forth.In recent years, enterprises pay more and more attention to the logistics costs, and most automobile companies devoted themselves to the optimization and continuous improvement of the logistics system. The factory logistics related to the supply of tens of thousands of all kinds of components, the normal production of the factory and the reduction of the supply cost, thus, becoming very complex and important.The research object of this paper is the inbound logistics of automobile company A. Besides, we provided new ideas and methods for the inbound logistics of automobile manufacturing enterprises in our country through specific empirical analysis, to improve their logistics efficiency, reduce the production cost, shorten the operation period, and enhance the core competitiveness of automobile enterprises.This paper first expounded some theoretical concept such as inbound logistics, inbound logistics model, path planning and the mode of transportation; Second, we put forward how to build highly efficient logistics system by aiming at the existing problem of A automobile company, making the enterprise realize centralized management and control of the supply chain, which includes:the layout of warehouse, inventory management, the separation of logistics cost from components cost, packaging standardization and warehouse layout optimization, etc. The research of this paper is on the basis of the supply chain management theory, aiming at the optimization of logistics system of company A, improving the competitiveness of company A.
