| Toyota Motor Corporation is one of the world's largest motor-car manufacturers and its unique system of logistics for production parts, especially its inbound logistics is very effective, and it is highly recognized in the field of automobile industry around the world. This research is trying to figure out the principle of Toyota's logistics as well as some useful experience by analyzing logistics system of Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co Ltd. (GTMC), a Chinese-Japanese joint enterprise which is located in Guangzhou, China. Meanwhile, I did some research about the difference between GTMC and Guangzhou Honda Automobile Co. Ltd (GHAC, another Chinese-Japanese joint enterprise in Guangzhou) in logistics. And, I found Toyota's logistics system is much rational and practical, comparing with GHAC. Thus, I concluded that China's automobile manufacturers should take the principle of Toyota's logistics system as their own, and introduce Toyota's logistics system into their production system. |
