The Research On Technical Innovation Audit Based On Technical Innovation Strategy

Good management of technological innovation is an important foundation and source for enterprises to enhance their core competencies, strengthen their international competitiveness and win sustainable competitive advantages. However, the success of technological innovation is not easy. So the choice of the technological innovation strategies is very critical for enterprises, due to the risk and traps during the process of technological innovation activities. The risk of technological innovation requires enterprises to effectively manage the technological innovation and choose the right technology innovation strategies, which demands enterprises to clearly know their technical abilities for the first place. Therefore, enterprises have to rely on effective management method, which can help enterprises choose a technology innovation strategy which is compatible to their own technical abilities. As a new innovation management method, the technical innovation audit can enhance the rate of success in the technical innovation and promote the effectiveness of technical innovation management. Most of the current research consider the technical innovation strategy as a part of the technical innovation audit system, lacking a study of the system which can integrate the technical innovation audit and the technical innovation strategy. Using the technical innovation audit, this thesis is trying to help enterprises choose technology innovation strategies which are compatible to their own technical abilities.Based on the different technical innovation strategies, this thesis will analyze the contents of the technical innovation audit and construct a index system of technical innovation audit, which can evaluate every aspect of enterprises’technical abilities. In the end, enterprises will choose the right technology innovation strategies which are compatible to their own technical abilities.This thesis mainly includes five chapters. The first chapter introduces this thesis’ research background, research significance, research objective, research content, research system and research methods. Chapter Two contains the concept of the technical innovation strategy and issues which should be noticed in the management of technical innovation strategy, along with the concept and components of technical innovation audit. Under different technical innovation strategies, Chapter Three will analyze the contents of the technical innovation audit and propose a framework model for it. Principles for designing an index system will also be elaborated, and this index system will be built. Meanwhile, the AHP(analytic hierarchy process) to determine the index weight and the high standard positioning method to determine the score will be mentioned.Chapter Four describes the technical innovation audit, which is considered as a dynamic strategic management tool, as well as the effectiveness of it.Chapter Five will demonstrate the effectiveness of technical innovation audit during the process of making a technical innovation strategy by choosing a company as an example.
